ilike and Rosehip
Rose hips (rosehip) is found on most rose plants. They develop on plants over the summer, maturing from late in the summer into early fall. Colors vary from burgundy to orange, scarlet-red or goldish-yellow.
Birds and wild animals eat rose hips, as do people. They are often used to make jams or jellies, or dried for use in tea because they are a rich source of vitamin C. It was necessary for the British to make syrup from rosehips during World War II to ensure that people had a satisfactory source of Vitamin C when citrus couldn't be imported easily.
Rosehips are a good source of antioxidants, and antioxidants are useful in skin care products because of their ability to combat the effects of premature aging and soothe and reinvigorate stressed skin.
